API Keys & Data Source Fetch

Access Data Streams via Granular API Keys

Remote services, AI modules, and client applications can query streams filtered by Venn tag sets or fetch real-time MJPEG live feeds directly using HTTP headers.

1

Generate API Keys with Tag Scopes

Assign allowed tag sets (e.g., only "Public" or "VIP"). Keys can only view their authorized feeds.

2

Fetch Data Sources & Stream URLs

Call /api/v1/data-sources to list data sources, snapshots, and MJPEG endpoints.

3

Venn Set Query Parameters

Query ?tags=Entrance,Zone A&mode=and to fetch the exact Venn intersection of cameras.

cURL Example — Fetch Permitted Data Sources
HTTP/1.1
# 1. Fetch authorized data sources with Venn tag filter
curl -X GET \
  -H "X-API-Key: <your-api-key>" \
  "http://localhost:4589/api/v1/data-sources?tags=Entrance,Zone A&mode=and"

# 2. Stream live MJPEG from data source directly
curl -H "X-API-Key: <your-api-key>" \
  "http://localhost:4589/api/v1/data-sources/cam_loc_a/stream"
